I interviewed my good friend Kaylan Depas on the challenges that his facing with the current outbreak of the coronavirus. Kaylan and I are roommates at the University of Hartford and also, we are student athletes. We both run track and field together for our school’s program.
One of the biggest problems his faces during these hard times is finding a way to have money and help out his mother with the bills. Even in college we found ourselves at hard times because we didn’t have a way to make money due to being a student athlete. Now it’s even worse because everything is closed.
One day during our Christmas break I was introduced to Forex which is short for the foreign exchange market. When I came back to school, I was telling all of my friends about it and how I am able to make money directly from my phone. Kaylan was one of the first friends I showed it to, and he was so surprised; he wanted to start to learn the skill of trading. Once I showed him everything, he needed to know he started to money directly from his iPhone just like I was. Now our problem with finding money during school wasn’t a problem anymore.
Kaylan used to work at Planet Fitness during the summer and throughout our school breaks when we got back home. Since he isn’t allowed to go work anymore just like everyone else, Forex has come in clutch for him and myself. He is helping his mom around the house with extra bills they need to pay and while having an extra income to get anything he needs to survive this pandemic.
Forex has been changing our lives as students and other in the world also. There are people who are professional traders and this full time and make a living off it. Obviously, Kaylan and I aren’t at the level yet but want to continue getting better at trading and one day get into the position where we are able to make this our full-time job.
Money isn’t always the most important thing but it’s usually the reason why do most things. We live in a world everything we do and want revolves around money. My main reason in doing Forex to find a way to have money while being a student athlete and not having to contact my parents for money every other weekend. Also is to help them around the house with any bills they need to get paid and at the same time have some money for myself.
For a while now I have been consistently been making good money and so has Kaylan. My end goal to help anyone who wants to learn this skill to trade within the foreign exchange market and help them become profitable. I have helped my best friend Kaylan in doing so and I have no doubt that I can help a lot more.
Whenever we get back to school, I want to host an event and have everyone who is interested in making money from their phone come and join. I want help to my fellow students through rough financial times become profitable and help them have another source of income. Especially with being a student you don’t really have that much time to go and work a job while dealing with school, sports, and the environment.
